The Job
As we continue our exciting journey of bringing our group to the forefront of what digitization should offer, we need to secure and anchor quality into everything we do. Getting the right quality is vital for the solutions we develop and deliver together with and for the business. In this position, you will get the chance to jump on a direct train to the digital future. You will play a key role in ensuring that we deliver the best possible quality to the business. It will be your job to mature our test strategies and approach, as well as, do hands-on testing and test preparation. As IT Test Specialist/Manager you will be based in Middelfart and you will report to our ERP & Applications Manager. Overall the responsibilities will include:
Define and manage test approach
Help define testable user stories with customers, representatives, and stakeholders
Conduct test planning
Help with test case creation
Participate in test execution
Manage test reporting and evaluation
Participate in the defect management
Participate in retrospectives and other ceremonies
Furthermore, you will be driving the maturing of our test processes and test tools as well as coaching other members in the organization on different approaches to tests and testing. Experience with test automation is a big plus.
Your profile and qualifications
We expect you to have at least two years of experience testing IT solutions in an agile setup. Furthermore, we expect you to have a relevant educational background, a methodical approach that enables you to create solid test designs, and finally, to understand, analyze and make recommendations based on the results of executed tests. In addition, it will be an advantage to have knowledge of following methodologies and programs:
Microsoft Azure DevOps
Microsoft Test Management
Microsoft Dynamics CRM
Microsoft Navision/Business Central
Technical testing
Test automation
Scrum
Kanban
The ideal candidate has a quality-oriented mindset, it self-motivated, and has a desire to succeed as well as a professional presence suitable for direct user interaction. As a person you are thorough, follow-through, have an eye for details and not least a very structured approach to tasks. You are comfortable working both as part of a team and as an individual. You have good situational awareness, can make the right decision at the right time and an ability to respond to change quickly. Certification in ISTQB Foundation or above is preferred, but not a must. Some travel activity will occur.
