We are looking for their new senior System Engineer, who will be part of an existing engineering team that is responsible for design, configuration, development, deployment and maintenance of new and existing solutions. You will be working with scalable efficient Linux systems distributed among multiple data centers.

The tasks for their new colleague will be, in addition to above:
Working with Linux based open source software solutions
Building high performance and high available services with millions of daily users
Building web & hosting services using technologies such as Graphite, Grafana, Gitlab, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Chef, Postgres, Nginx, Wildfly, PowerDNS, dnsdist, Kerberos, RabbitMQ, CouchDB, MariaDB, Hitch, Varnish, DoveCot, Apple Darwin, Halon, Cyren, Solr, Open Stack, Apache, Ansible, Icinga, Fluentd, Apt, Halon, Hadoop, Elastic Search
Write efficient and scalable code in languages such as GO, C and python
Focus on Automatization (Chef)
Building a Native Cloud system in Kubernetes (GO)Security
Documenting interfaces and maintenance procedures
The right person has/- is:
5+ years’ experience from relevant previous positions with systems administration, engineering and development
Relevant academic background, preferably in computer science
Ability to grasp complex IT issues
A DevOps mindset with focus on continuous improvement
Believe in frequent releases and building systems that are easy to use, deploy and maintain
Quick learning, engaged, structured and independent
You are resilient ang outgoing and are able to handle change in a flat organization
Backend development department in Copenhagen consists of more than 30 people and handles the hosting backend infrastructure, including but not limited to:

Datacenter(s)
HTTP(s) Servers
DNS/CDN
Mail & Calendar
