As Lead Enterprise Architect for IIoT and supply chain digitalization you combine a technical mindset with a deep understanding of how supply execution is evolving.
Arla has an ambitious supply chain digitalization strategy where the opportunities of tomorrow’s technology advancements are factored into the designs of today through 3 lenses – a paperless shopfloor execution, a seamless blend of human workforce and robot augmentation using advanced technologies, a data led decision mindset utilizing Azure in combination with Azure edge computing and state of the art IIoT platforms. This ambition also requires advanced analytics to deliver a supply chain control tower concept, allowing for a real time insights (from shop floor equipment’s, fleets of Trucks and other devices) and decision support of a very complex value chain.
In addition to the supply chain digitalization strategy – Arla has ambitions with sustainability towards analytics for on farm level for the owners. That is a new area for Arla that looks into delivering IoT data led services for Arla farmers.
Enterprise Architect with business sense and strong communication skills
Your role…
It is imperative that you have a strong business sense and strong skills creating and communicating solutions for a supply chain organization. Preferably, your experience derives from a global organization in the FMCG industry that has moved ahead on the IIOT agenda and advanced analytics ambitions. Traditionally SAP has been a vital part of the administrative solutions in your past especially SAP ECC and SCM, and potentially SAP S/4HANA, so an understanding of the link between the ERP world and IIOT data landscape is important but not a must from day one.
You are a skilled decision-maker and a good listener who can see matters from your colleagues’ point of view and you fit well with a small EA team of 7 dedicated enterprise architects. You have an excellent command of written and spoken English. As an EA you would using state of the art EA repository tooling like Lean IX and suitable methodologies.
Qualifications…
You are a business- and IT architect at heart but also a very impactful communicator thriving in the senior stakeholder’s dialogue exhibiting great listening skills.
This role is as much about making decisions understood among senior stakeholders as it is about actual decisions and technical designs. You proactively identify and facilitate platforms selections suitable for supporting a continued digitalization of Arla’s supply chain, delivered using agile principles (SAFe framework) where you will work closely together with the release train architect and the supply chain organization. Aside from this, you provide EA services, such as inspiring management teams across the organization of future opportunities of leveraging technologies. This you will do in close collaboration with the IT business partners.
