For global medical products developer
Ferrosan Medical Devices develops hemostatic products that doctors in over 100 countries worldwide use to minimize bleeding during surgeries. Our products are quite literally vital. With such an important product, a smooth-running business is critical. Managing our Human Capital and providing precise Business Intelligence is key to achieving that goal. Are you up to that task?
Companywide Business Intelligence maestro
You will be part of the IT department, working out of our global headquarters in Søborg, Denmark. We are a small team of specialists, highly dedicated and competent, so you will have plenty of support and experience to draw from as you get settled into our close-knit crew. In a smaller team, you have much more of an influence on the daily work processes, and much more responsibility than you would in a larger IT department. It is the perfect place to show what you can do!
The team works in a wide range of fields, where you will be focused on our Human Capital Management applications with HR as your main stakeholder. Apart from that, you will be focused on our Business Intelligence applications and/or Microsoft 365. You will be working in especially close cooperation with the BW architect, but you will interact with people from all kinds of different departments within Ferrosan such as New Business Development, Finance, and HR, etc., as it is their needs you are working to fulfill.
Mastering both maintenance and growth Your principal task is working with the business in order to maximize the value of our Human Capital Management application platform, SuccessFactors, through data-driven insights and people analytics.
You make sure that the applications are always reliably running and readily available to everyone, and you are in tune with the needs of your colleagues when you implement improvements to the platforms.
In your day-to-day, you can expect to be:
Collaborating with team members, vendors, and business resources for the purpose of collecting and managing data, data access, and data presentation to further the company’s mission
Working with the front-end and back-end design, maintaining and implementing effective data solutions and models to store and retrieve company data
Monitoring the performance of data and reporting systems and looking at ways to optimize that performance
Creating and maintaining accurate reports, diagrams, and metrics of BI applications and their underlying database design and architecture management and executive teams
Representing the reporting application technical stack(s) in strategy discussions for short and long-term planning
Participate in patch/upgrade/change control processes, identifying implications and dependencies to the application environment and performing testing scenarios that take those implications into account
Flexible job in a social environment
With a small, dedicated team, there are fewer rigid guidelines to adhere to. This means that you can expect a more flexible job with a possibility for hybrid remote work and relocation assistance when onsite work is necessary.
Aside from the professional benefits, there are also a lot of secondary perks, such as a great pension and health insurance, a good canteen and Friday bars.
What we expect from you The tools that you facilitate are critical to the growth of our business. As such, you must be an organized and levelheaded worker. You thrive in the difficult balancing act of concentrating on details while also thinking in the grander strategic terms.
As you will be interfacing with colleagues from all around Ferrosan, you must be a competent communicator for whom stakeholder management comes naturally. You will explain complex technical matters to the non-specialists on a regular basis and should be able to do so comfortably.
As to the specifics of your qualifications:
You work systematically and are committed
You focus on high quality and on-time project delivery
Very strong costumer-focus mindset
You value close co-operation with your stakeholder
Willing to take action and drives for results
You must have a bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, information systems, or within a similar field
You must have 2+ years of experience working with SuccessFactors
You must have experience working with BI or Microsoft 365
You must have the ability to understand/troubleshoot complex reports from existing databases
